Episode 3: Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da

Hey y’all and welcome to Sewspire!

Today we are incorporating the hidden zipper pocket into the exterior of our collaborative patchwork backpack design. Yesterday we assembled the front and rear patchwork panels and finished those with a nice diamond top quilt pattern.

You will need 1 of those finished quilted panels, a 6″ x 18″ wide piece of quilted fabric and one 18″ YKK Longpull zipper to complete this portion of the project.

Tomorrow we will be incorporating the two-way divided pockets you have requested.
