How to sew a Triangle Sleepover Tote Bag

Hey y’all and welcome back to Sewspire!

This is a brand new design with a unique triangular shape that could be used as a sleepover tote, stuffed animal tent or as a toy storage solution. I am sure you have some great ideas as well! Please do leave a comment and let us all know what you are going to use your triangle tote for.

For this project you will need approximately a yard of fabric and one 16″ zipper which you can find in many beautiful colors over at ZipIT on Etsy. I used a heavier twill for the exterior and a very sheer shimmery material for the interior.

Before beginning, you will need to precut two 18″ x 36″ rectangles and one 5″ x 18″ rectangle.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial and will share photos of your finished projects on the Sewspire Instagram and Facebook pages using #sewspire and @sewspire.

Until next week…

The creative genius in me salutes the creative genius in you!

XO,

Andrea
