How to add a button tab closure to your diaper bag

How to make a fabric covered button and add a tab closure to a bag

Hey y’all and welcome back to Sewspire!

Today I am going to show you how to make an oversized fabric covered button and a fabric tab so that you can add a button tab closure to any bag.

This particular video is a supplement to my Zip Top Diaper Bag Tutorial which is a Premium Sewspire offering in PDF format.

If you wanted to incorporate the button tab closure into the design of your Sewspire Diaper Bag, simply omit the zipper top and substitute with this button tab closure. Easy peasy!

Next week I will be creating another supplemental tutorial which outlines how to sew the diaper clutch and changing pad that accompany this fabulous diaper bag design.

For a limited time, you can get your digital copy of the Sewspire Zip Top Diaper Bag Tutorial for $9.95. The price will increase October 1, 2016 to $12.95.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need clarification on any aspect of the diaper bag tutorial. As always, you are welcome to sell your finished goods. No further permission required. I would be over the moon if share photos of your finished goods on the Sewspire Facebook page and/or tag @sewspire on Instagram.

Many thanks for watching and I am looking forward to showing you how to make the accompanying accessories next week! Until then, the creative genius in me salutes the creative genius in you!

XO,

Andrea
