How to sew a faux leather wallet

How to sew a Faux Leather Wallet

Hey y’all and welcome back to Sewspire!

Today I am going to show you how to sew a wallet using faux leather. This project is unique in that I use a folding technique to fashion the interior from a continuous cut of fabric. Using this method you can easily customize the interior to suit your needs. I hope you enjoy the video and will share pictures of your finished project with me on Instagram and/or Facebook.

For this project you are going to need to cut out the following pieces of material.

One 8″ x 43″ continuous cut of twill fabric

One 8″ x 12″ piece of faux leather material

One 7″ zipper

I will be back next week with another inspired sewing project! Until then, please know the creative genius in me, salutes the creative genius in you!

XO,

Andrea

P.S. Sending extra love and hugs to our friends here in the USA as we continue to mend our hearts from the election.

Andrea you really have some great designs and I love sewing some of your projects. I am away at present so I’m having sewing withdrawals but I am definitely going to try your wallet when I get home.
    Cheers, have a fabulous day.
