How to Sew a Two Pocket Tote Bag

Hey y’all and welcome to Sewspire!

Today I am here to show you how to sew a simple, yet beautiful, two pocket tote bag to take on your next adventure.

For this project you will need to precut the following pieces of fabric:

Top exterior accent panel: 12″ x 18″, cotton, cut 2

Bottom exterior accent panel: 7″ x 18″, twill, duck, home dec, cut 2

Exterior pockets: 8″ x 8″, cotton, cut 2

Interior: 18″ x 18″, cotton, cut 2

Plus:

Two pieces of quilt batting that measure 18″ x 18″ for the exterior body panels

92″ of one inch cotton webbing for the handles
